So many bugs... new release?

I really love Windows Live Mail, but there are so many annoying bugs and I
was wondering how long it's going to take until we see a new revision with
some fixes...

For example:
- When emptying Trash in an IMAP account, WLM gives an error and the Trash
disappears until I refresh the folder list
- Unread mail count often does not update and so is wrong
- Newsgroup view often resets to non-conversation view

The following are not bugs, but annoying things anyway:
- It should be possible to open IMAP messages without downloading
attachments first, and download them only when I try to open them
- It should be possible to use multiple senders per account, like is already
possible with Live Hotmail, or the Thunderbird client. Many IMAP accounts
have multiple email addresses so I want to choose the sender when I write
mail, without having to add 100 dummy pop3 accounts. Another scenario is
having addresses that forward mail to hotmail. In Live Hotmail I can set the
senders I want to use, which is very practical, but I Windows Live Mail I
cannot
- Is the Live Calendar coming to Live Mail Desktop?

Is the WLM team working on bug fixes, or is this application left alone? I
mean, it's been released 17 months ago now...

It's rumoured that a new (probably beta) version will be released
'late summer'.

Doesn't happen for me with my Gmail account.

Your Quick views are broken, then. See

I've never seen that; it might be linked to the bug above.

As above. Calendar integration is still just a rumour.

Click on your Gmail trash folder then try using the little "X" that appears
beside the trash folder to empty it and you should be able to replicate the
problem the op is having.

I can duplicate everyone of these.
