| | Exporting e-mail from Windows Live Mail Hi! I'd like to be able to export my mail to my web server (Time Warner Cable), but I do not see a selection for that. I'm sure I probably am missing something. I have exported my contacts to a folder, but not the incoming messeges. Thanx all. -- Keep the info coming... Willow |

Tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenanch. Click on the, "Stores" button to find the location of your message store. Note: If by "export to my web server" you mean putting your email messages on your Personal Web Page for others to see, it is just a matter of uploading the .eml file in whatever manner allows it to be displayed. If by "export to my web server" you mean uploading your email to the Road Runner web mail server, there is no way to do that, unless Road Runner has something like the HTTPMail, or IMAP protocol in place. You can't put your mail on a POP3 server from a mail client, other than by forwarding it to the account. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |

| | Re: Exporting e-mail from Windows Live Mail I assume that you want to get existing messages into your web mail account. To do that, the mail account needs to support IMAP access. If it does, set up an IMAP account in WLM. Once that is working, you can copy messages into the IMAP folders in WLM and they will upload. If the server does not support IMAP and doesn't not have an import option (I've never heard of one that does), there's no clean way to upload messages. You could forward the messages to the mail account. But besides being tedious, the then senders and dates on the messages will all get altered. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "willow1948" <willow1948@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:1C7BA221-6AC3-482E-8BBF-8D7A07A65CD3@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi!
