mails for 2 users mixed in the mailbox

we are 2 users with 2 different livemail userids sharing the same computer.
When I log on to my userid with my psw, I can see the recieved mail for the
other windows live mail userid in the same inbox folder !!!

Re: mails for 2 users mixed in the mailbox

If you want privacy, the two of you must use separate Windows user logins.

Re: mails for 2 users mixed in the mailbox

This is not just a matter of privacy. I have two different email addresses
for two different uses, and for each, I get messages in both folders. The
quickview shows two copies of each message. Very annoying and
time-consuming.

My second week with Vista, and it bugs me more every day.......

Re: mails for 2 users mixed in the mailbox

You have two different users, each with their own Windows user login?
If so, WLM should show only one email account for each.

If the two users have a common Windows user login:
Look in Tools, Accounts, and make sure the accounts haven't
inadvertently been duplicated.

Re: mails for 2 users mixed in the mailbox

Thank you, Gary, for the very quick reply. I deleted one of the accounts and
created a replacement. This fixed my problem. It was probably a duplication
of login information, but it is now too late to know for sure.

(Still not a fan of Vista, but at least this problem has gone away.)

Lola, maybe this will help you too.
