How to change sound that plays on incoming email

I was wandering if it is possible to change the sound that plays when an
email comes in. I like the good old Microsoft Outlook sound preferably.

Re: How to change sound that plays on incoming email

In the sounds tab of the Sound dialogue (right click the speaker icon to get
there).

Under Windows, the entry for 'New Mail Notification' is where you can select
your preferred sound.

Re: How to change sound that plays on incoming email

Outlook on this machine uses Windows Sound options.

Click Start.
Click Control Panel.
Do one of the following:

Windows Vista
Click Hardware and Sound, and then click Sound.
Note If you are using Classic View, double-click Sound.
On the Sound dialog box, on the Sounds tab, under Program, under Windows, click New Mail Notification.

Microsoft Windows XP
In Control Panel in Category view, click Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices, and then click Sounds and Audio Devices.
Note If you are using Classic View, double-click Sounds and Audio Devices.

On the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties dialog box, on the Sounds tab, under Program, under Windows, click New Mail
Notification.
Click Browse, and then select a different .wav audio file.
Click OK.
