| | Something is plugging up the WLM outbox My wife is finding in her outbox emails she thought had gone out hours before. Doesn't seem to be any consistency as to the type, size, attachments, etc. We're using WLM through the ATT/Yahoo server, and if she goes to her Yahoo website account, she can send the same mails out with no problem. If, after hitting "Send/Receive" you go to the Status (??) Box (the thing that shows what tasks are being performed), it says it is sending emails, but the meter bar creeps along very slowly. No problem receiving mail. -- Randy in San Miguel (or Austin) |

| | Re: Something is plugging up the WLM outbox gDay Ranman I'll ask some questions that might help you isolate the problem Did this problem exist previously, of not then what changed ? How big are the attachments in the mail items ? Is the machine that wife your wife is using the only macine using that link ? If are other machines using it, what are they doing - anyone running unthrottled torrents ? What's your upload speed limit - typically upload limits are slower than downloads ? Can other users send similar mail via same link and SMPT server.? Let us know how if these questions help, and of course answer them if they don't. -- TUT "The world has enough for man's need, but not for man's greed."
