Workarounds:
A) Save the message to the Drafts folder (click X in upper right-hand
corner, then YES to save changes), go to the Drafts folder, double click
the message to open, make any changes and send normally
B) While you can't type in the Subject, you can Paste. Copy (or Cut)
and Paste from the message body, notepad, or other source into the
Subject. Then send.
