RSS feeds: unspecified potential security risk

Using Windows Live Mail 12.0.1606 and IE7 on XPPSP3. Whenever I
select a feed from Liveside (
http://feeds.feedburner.com/liveside/ ) to view as a web page in
WLMail, I have to dismiss this IE security warning at least twice.
It seems to make no difference whether I reply Yes or No to the
question "Would you like to continue?" The warning does not occur if
I view the feed in IE. My security settings in IE are as lax as I
can make them without Nanny barking at me. I have put both
feedburner.com and liveside.net in my trusted sites. The problem
seems to have arisen when I upgraded XP to SP3, but that could be a
coincidence.
I won't believe that Kip and co are trying to pull a fast one on me,
so there is some setting somewhere that's not as it should be, but
I'm blowed if I can find it. It doesn't happen with my other feeds.
Can anyone suggest a solution?

Unless that is supposed to imply some specific set of options
I have no problem viewing feeds from LiveSide - Windows Live news and interviews

ICIM my environment is XPsp2 + IE7 + WLMail
and I "subscribed" to that feed first through IE7 (Ctrl-j)
then opened it (for the first time) in WLMail (Ctrl-Shift-k)

FWIW

Re: RSS feeds: unspecified potential security risk

Good to hear I'm not the only one! No, I still have the problem.
Perhaps we could find some common denominator - it's clearly not an
OS thing. One idea is that the various bits used to display the feed
are on different drives (my WLMail store folder is on my D: drive,
my Temporary Internet Files on my external G: drive, for example).
Does anything like this apply in your case? Liveside uses
Silverlight for animated display, so perhaps that figures in the
equation as well. The problem also exists in v14 of WLMail.

RE: RSS feeds: unspecified potential security risk

I'm running WLM Beta on XP SP2, and I get the exact same errors. It's
incredibly frustrating. I've played around with the IE7 settings as much as
I can, even setting the security all the way down to its lowest possible
setting, and nothing seems to work.

I love the format of WLM and how I can access my Hotmail account on it, but
I'm getting ready to abandon it for RSS Feeds due to this incredibly
frustrating error.

Does anyone know what could be causing this, or how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

RE: RSS feeds: unspecified potential security risk

I dont beleive anyone is even paying attention to us any longer, Paul. No,
I have not found an answer, I've tried everything! And I beleive Ildhund has
too! This is soooo frustrating! As much as I like WLM, I also like my RSS
feeds
there too, I am going to have to resort to find another mail client. This
has become too exhaustive to have to FIGHT to read my RSS.
Let us know if YOU have any luck!!
