When he decided to log in to windows live mail instead of the old one, it got mixed up and now my account and his acount have joined togethor with all his e-mails, folders and everything else gone into mine. When we logged into his it had done the same all my stuff had gone into his. Any help? |

| | Re: E-Mail Account Mix Up I'm sorry but I'm not following your situation here. How can you have multiple versions of WLM on the same computer? WLM should install once then each login account will use the same version.. The file stores are kept under your windows login folder in "My Documents and Settings" and therefore shouldn't get mixed up. Can you give me any further information. Exactly which versions are you talking about? What do you mean by "using your email account"? Does each person have their own windows login account or do both of you use the same windows login? I'd give him his own Windows Login account, and log mine out when I was done. With a password that only I know. Because Windows Live Mail assumes that the user of the account is the same, it stores all email data in the same location, thus co-mingling all email accounts under one Windows Login ID. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |

| | Re: E-Mail Account Mix Up To keep mail separate, create a unique user Windows Logon User account for each person using the pc. Each Windows logon account when using WLM with their own unique Live ID will sync with the server make that Live ID's users mail, folders, etc. accessible. -- ...winston ms-mvp mail "Jak" <Jak@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:15F3376F-E353-455E-AFE0-670818DD0D19@xxxxxx Quote: > Using my e-mail account on Windows Live Mail while another person on the same > PC was using the old version.
