    Live Contacts Export Problem

I have given up on allowing Windows Live connection to share Contacts
information, as changes I make on one computer would get over-written by old
data on the Contacts list at MSN. So I am now manually doing it, however it
    has a problem too.

I have a Contact who's old, removed work email address continues to appear
in CSV exports. I have verified his record no longer contains this email
address, yet when I do an CSV export and then view the file in Excel there
is the old email address, with his personal email address nowhere to be
    seen.

The CSV Export menu also leaves much to be desired with poor over-sized
formatting and no "Select All" option, but that's another problem.

Any ideas on why the correct data is not being exported from Contacts?

I have adopted the practice of closing Windows Live Mail and Windows
Live Messenger. Then, I amend Contact details by logging onto my
Hotmail account at MSN. Having made any amendments, additions and
deletions at the central source (and nowhere else), WLMail and
WLMessenger synchronize Contact details automatically, next time I open
    these programs.
