| | Re: Windows Mail replaced comcast.net email; how to return to comcast. You mean Windows Mail downloaded and then deleted all your emails from the Comcast mail server? That is normal behavior for a POP account. Sorry, here is no automated or bulk method for returning those emails to the server. You would have to forward them individually. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "ananka" <ananka@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:8E6A5788-631C-4CDA-8607-6174DD3EE7CE@xxxxxx Quote: > |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Windows Mail replaced comcast.net email; how to return to comcast. Hi Ananka, To get your messages into a web user interface (like Yahoo) or Comcast... You could create a GMail account, import the messages into Gmail with IMAP and Windows Mail (Easy Way to Import, Upload, Backup or Store Email Messages into Gmail for Archive » My Digital Life) and then use the Add an External Mail Account feature of Yahoo or Comcast to download the messages from Gmail. Or you could just use Gmail. It does rock. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Windows Mail replaced comcast.net email; how to return to comcast. Alternatively create a free gmail account. Create an IMAP account in Windows Mail. Then copy paste all your email from the inbox in Windows Mail into the gmail folder in Windows Mail. This will update the web interface automatically. Will take some time but I mananged in excess of 3000 mails in about two hours. Doing them in batches. Then you can get them all back into Comcast using http://secure5.trueswitch dot com |
