| | Re: Save before reinstall and restore after reinstall-Vista Ultimate and WLM You must have misunderstood. An export from Hotmail contacts (Windows Live Contacts) gives 81 different fields, ranging from Sensitivity to Grandmother's Maiden Name. Field no. 41 is Birthday. Not all of these fields are accessible in Hotmail, and it's a slightly different subset that's accessible in WLMail. You could probably populate them all in Hotmail, though, with an import from Outlook. WLContacts are programmable. -- Noel "Karl Snooks" <wiesoundwarum@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:eLk2xcvCJHA.3668@xxxxxx Quote: > I did a backup of my WLM contacts. > > The resulting .CSV did NOT show the birthday field. > > The birthday field is visible when viewing/editing the contacts. > > I agree that the field should be in the .CSV, alas,'tis missing. > > Karl > > > "Ildhund" <jnllb@xxxxxx> wrote in message > news:%23Dhi0xhCJHA.4768@xxxxxx > Are you signed in with a Hotmail-type Live ID?
