| | blocking mail in other "languages" Lately, I have been getting emails in some strange script, or language, which appear to be ads for ordering fake documents. here are a couple of samples: בישראל אלטר*טיבה When clicking through for the address, I get things like this: cggudaigcorumg@xxxxxx; kalrpxuldzfkv@xxxxxx; izmsq@xxxxxx; I don't know how to block them, because it is difficult to copy, and they continually "morph" into new forms, with each successive email. Any suggestions? |

| | Re: blocking mail in other "languages" If this is a POP or IMAP account, have a look at [Tools >] Security options > International > Encoding. If you don't expect to receive mail using other character sets than Western, you could block most of the others. For HTTP, you'll have to rely on the Hotmail filters. -- Noel "CD" <question@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:u$ND9#WCJHA.1632@xxxxxx Quote: > Lately, I have been getting emails in some strange script, or > language, which appear to be ads for ordering fake documents. here > are a couple of samples: > בישראל > אלטר*טיבה > > When clicking through for the address, I get things like this: > > cggudaigcorumg@xxxxxx; > kalrpxuldzfkv@xxxxxx; > izmsq@xxxxxx; > > I don't know how to block them, because it is difficult to copy, > and they continually "morph" into new forms, with each successive > email. > Any suggestions? |
