Hello,
My husband and I have separate hotmail accounts. Everytime I sign our
messages and folders are included under the same even though we sign in
separately. How can we keep our emails separate and private from each others
viewing?

What are you signing into?
Do you have separate Windows logins (user profiles) on your PC? If you
want to keep your mail separate and you are both using Windows Live
Mail you need to use separate Windows logins.

*all* Hotmail accounts will be set up in that user accounts copy of Windows
Live Mail. If you want separate Hotmail account access in Windows Live Mail,
you will need to set up separate Windows User accounts.
P.S. I like books written by science fiction author Dr. Jerry Pournelle. He
used to write a computer column for Byte magazine. He is a proponent of "One
user, many computers". I still operate that way, having two computers
currently running, and a third waiting for me to tinker with it, and bring
it back to life. Sharing a single computer with multiple users is something
I could never get used to. However, Windows is set up precisely to allow
multiple users to share a single computer. That is what the "User" icon in
the Control Panel allows you to do.

Thanks for replying, and yes, we use the same login. I guess we will have to
do what you just said. Thank you very much!
p.s. not that we are trying to hide anything from each other! Ha!
