Vista - Folders won't download

I transferred a lot of emails into storage folders. Because I couldn't
figure out a better way to do it, I did it by drag and drop. There were
maybe 50 folders I emptied (through drag and drop), and then deleted.

After doing this, WLM would not connect properly to the hotmail account.
This went on for days. I thought maybe it just had a lot of thinking to do
but eventually it would just report an error.

So I removed the account so I could just re-add it in the hope of better
results. Sadly the same thing is happening.

Is this perhaps also related to the fact that when I now sign in to Hotmail
in Explorer, it refuses the first password and makes me type the same thing
again.
