No progress window in Send/Receive

Why does the progress window only appear if we click the Send/Receive twice.
Clicking once will make WLM send/receive but no progress window. Is this a
bug?

Re: No progress window in Send/Receive

No, it's by design. Microsoft believes that most users don't care to see
all the little details associated with downloading email.

Re: No Progress Window In Send/Receive

So they dumb the software down...

And make us click twice.

Not "only". As long as the Status bar contains something besides
the Working... icons you can click once down there.

So, that's similar to the way that OE users can open its Status window.
The main difference is that the Working... icons move over the pane
in the Status bar which you would use to open the Status window with.

I'd say it would be a quirk that clicking twice opened the Status window.
What would be the logic of that? At least clicking on a message in
the Status bar (if not the area where it used to be) has a precedent in OE.

Re: No progress window in Send/Receive

Or Control M (while Status bar contains something besides working)
