There is no password for WLM, you just the one to access your email account.

You mean the password for your email account? Only your email service
provider can change it. Go to their website, and they may offer a
procedure to change the password online.

First change the password at the e-mail service. The procedure varies
by service.

Then in WLM go to Tools, Accounts, Mail, Properties, Servers to change
the password that WLM has stored for the e-mail account and passes to
the mail server when the mail server asks for it.

Windows Live Mail does not have a password.

If you opted to let WLM sign in to a Windows Live account, you have to first
change the password at the Windows Live ID site. Then go to the "Change
sign-in ID" in WLM, and change it there, as well.

If you do not let WLM sign in to a Windows Live account, then you have to
make any changes in the account properties ***AFTER*** you make changes with
the account online.
