Update only Windows live mail
Hi People,

i have downloaded the wlsetup-web.exe to install the new
"windows.live.mail.desktop"

but when i lunch the setup he want update also the messenger ! but i dont
want this ! just want update mail !

so how i can do that ?

Setup is going to install a Windows Live Mail beta.
If you have Messenger installed, setup will update messenger. You don't
have a choice.

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002)"

i have try another way

on a fresh machine, i install first "win.mail.Beta" only then with the old
wlinstaller.exe i try to install messenger..

BUT is not working

when i launch the old wlinstaller.exe i got this error:

There was a problem with this installation. Windows Live Suite was not
installed.
Code: 0x8000ffff
Desc: Catastrophoc failure

i maded it !!!

not easy to get

Messenger 8.5 & Mail Beta 2008 (14) both together !!

here how to proceed

first install Windows Mail Beta trough the wlsetup-web.exe ->
http://download.live.com

and then after the Stand Alone messenger 8.5 ->
http://depositfiles.com/files/3703688

I am having the same problem. I do not mind the new Windows live mail but do
not like the new ver. 9 messenger. So I want to download Windows Live Mail
only so that I can have Messenger 8.5. I get the same message James got with
the downloader. The download all did not work the second time and the
download-web did not seem to function either. I am going to try that last
one again if I can
