| | Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta...Calendar does not sync This is really strange. Everything else (email, RSS, news, contacts) works fine, but my Calendar refuses to sync with the online live calendar. My mail client says: /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Are other people facing the same problem? |

| | Re: Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta...Calendar does not sync It is possible for email, news, and other things to sync independently since they use different servers. Calendar in particular syncs with the calendar service at calendar.live.com, so it is possible that the service was temporarily down when you tried to sync. If you receive this error message again, try logging into the web version of your calendar at http://calendar.live.com to see if the service is actually available. If you are seeing the error message you mentioned and the service is available, that could indicate an issue. -Mitch [MS] Quote: > This is really strange. | | Re: Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta...Calendar does not sync Hello, I've been getting this error message all the time since I started using WLMB over a week back. I have logged into the web version of my calendar (http://calendar.live.com) and the service is very much available. I've even subscribed to an iCal holiday list from Mozilla and it's working fine on my web calendar. However, I don't see it being synchronized with my WLMB Calendar...nor are the calendar events I've added to my desktop calendar being reflected on the web version.
