How to install Windows live mail WITHOUT windows live messenger

I do not like Windows Live Messenger 9 how can I install a version of Windows
Live Mail with out installing Windows Live Messenger.

It does not have to be the most recent version of Windows Live Mail the
version I had on my computer before I installed the update worked just as
well as the newest version.

But I have removed Windows Live Mail and Outlook Express so I need a version
of Windows Live Mail.

Thanks
Roger

I didn't have any trouble doing this. Just deselect Windows Live Messenger
in this screen. It's the first screen after the Get Windows Live button.

Re: How to install Windows live mail WITHOUT windows live messenge

Thanks Earle:
That is not a url that I have been to. Where I was Windows Live Mail,
Windows Live messenger and Windows something Talk were preselected I could
not deselect any of them but I am going to the page you suggested right now.

This is the stable version, not the beta.

Re: How to install Windows live mail WITHOUT windows live messenge

My Thanks to Earle and Daniel. That link did get me back my email program
and it even found where I had copied the messages to and put them back in the
program. I still have not figured out how it did that.

I am sure I will love the new one when it is ready but I do not know enough
about these things to like to tinker.

I SURE DO APPRECIATE THE TIME ALL OF YOU HERE SPEND TO MAKE THE PROGRAMS
BETTER.

THANKS

http://get.live.com
Select to run the downloader.
When it opens, you get to pick which components to install.
Deselect the ones you do NOT want.
