Hello everyone .

I seem to be haveing some trouble with my Windows Mail!

Whenever I click the Windows Mail icon it doesnt open!

I tried opening it thru command prompt to open it.. Still nothing!!!

It was working before and I did'nt change anything!

It just randomly stopped working!

Iam useing Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit OS

with service pack 1.

If you need anymore info just let me know

No it was NOT restarting pc either

JakDG, poor bugger, probably did what I did, and uninstalled IE8 beta, because the damned thing created merry-hell with Windows Live Mail and Photo Gallery. So until the Esteemed Deity Geeks Society [eDogs] get it right for once.....IE7 rules.

Listen chaps and chapesses with superior know-how and extra-functional neuron masses, please don't be so terse when addressing problems or questions posed by us Newbies. Yes, some of the questions may appear idiotic, but to the submitter, there is also the element of fear in facing the unknown.

It is all a matter of gaining confidence, that helps in the learning process. Take a leaf out of Brink's maxim [look for it] and you will understand. At some point of your own learning process, you were once considered an idiot, and to deny that means that you have retained that status.

Just go into Task Manager and end the one that says "winmail.32" And click End Task!

But the honest truth is that I have neither the expertise or confidence to even look at Task Manager, let alone actually fiddle about in the space. Unfortunately, it is also a fact that I cannot make rhyme nor reason of your answer......it's these bothersome reducing brain cells, you know. Toodle-pip.

Windows Mail is winmail.exe not winmail.32

Task Manager access = simultaneously press and hold Control Shift Esc
Click on Processes
Click on Winmail.exe
Click on End Process
