Spell Check Not Working

I have windows Live Mail Desktop installed on a Dell Inpiron 640m Vista
Ultimate. I have spell check setup to check as I type and I have the English
(United States) dictionary installed. It does not highlight mis-spelled words
and when I click "Tools - Spelling" nothing happens. I tried uninstall and
reinstall but nothing works. Any advise. I do have iespell installed but that
should not interfere as it only works in IE.

Re: Spell Check Not Working

"Windows Live Mail Desktop" became obsolete as of April 2007
when the Desktop part of the name was dropped. Make sure you
have the current released version of Windows Live Mail:
12.0.1606

Re: Spell Check Not Working

You could try the 'complete' uninstall/reinstall:
http://liveunplugged.spaces.live.com...90CA!226.entry

or go for the latest beta, which will upgrade over your current version:
http://download.live.com/wlmail

Re: Spell Check Not Working

Updating to the beta worked but why does the colorizer in the beta only
change the color of the menue bar in only slightly different shades of the
default color.

Re: Spell Check Not Working

Strictly a design decision by he WLM development team.
Some have commented that the colorizer should have a fuller adjustment
range. Perhaps we'll see a change in the next release.

Anemic Colors represent a Poor Design Decision.
