Windows Live Mail Desktop Closes Window BUT NEVER SENDS THE MAIL

Hi everyone:

I've been noticing something about the WLM Desktop client. Sometimes
(Though not every time) I go to send of an email message and click the SEND
button, the window goes away, giving me the impression the mail has been
sent successfully HOWEVER when I go to look in the OUTBOX, I see that IT IS
STILL THERE.

Mind you, this isn't just mere seconds after clicking the SEND button, this
is HOURS (If not DAYS!) after it was believed I had sent the email.

Is it just me or have others encountered the same bug too?

My OS - Windows XP Home Edition.
My Internet Connection - Cable (Comcast)

Cheers

Is a copy of the message present in the Sent Folder. If so, your Quick View counter may be broken.

If you are uncomfortable editing the registry this site has a vbs script available for download that will make the change.

- Note: Some AV programs may raise a flag on downloading or executing a vbs script, I've tested it and found it to be safe for
use.
