Unread E-Mail

This morning when I double-clicked on my email in the tray, (Version
14.0.5027.0908), the unread email showed over 500 unread emails dating back
to over a month ago. Last night only showed the one that I had not read. I
tried marking them all (ctrl-A) and selecting mark all read but that didn't
remove them. I checked the view and ensured that "hide read messages" was
checked. I then tried to select them individually and to mark them as
"read" but that didn't work either. Any ideas.

If you are talking about a Quick View folder, it means your Quick views
are broken. Go here for the fix:

Re: Unread E-Mail

Thank you both, Gary and PaulM. The solution was right on. It fixed the
problem. I have saved both messages for future reference.

Chuck
