Automatic e-mail forwarding

Hi!

Is it possible to set the WLMail to forward automaticaly every mail I
receive to another mail account (not hotmail/msn accont)? If it's yes,
how?

Thanks in advance... :-)

Re: Automatic e-mail forwarding

It's clumsy, but could be done. Not recommended, because you'd
have to leave your PC turned on 24/7, and any temporary power
failure would probably spoil the arrangement.
Much better to go to your mail provider's website, and set up
forwarding there.

It's not a problem. I've got one the PCs in my home network turned on
24/7...

I don't understand that part. What I want to do is forwarding the
mails received in my hotmail account to my gmail account. It can't be
done from gmail and I don't know how to do it from hotmail.

Thanks for your hepl... :-)

Re: Automatic e-mail forwarding

A free Hotmail account(Hotmail or MSN or Live.com) permits forwarding to another Hotmail account. To forward to a non Live ID
domain(e.g. Google) requires a Hotmail Plus subscription($20/yr U.S.). A Hotmail Plus account permits forwarding that account's
*incoming* mail to only one other address. It does not forward mail previously received.

Note: Hotmail Plus may not be available for all geographical locations(iirc credit card not debit is required)

The problem is that Windows Live Mail rules would have to be used to create
an auto forward. Forget about the issue with leaving your computer on; WLM
rules to not work automatically with IMAP and HTTPMail (Hotmail) accounts.
An "Auto Forward" rule action would never execute for a Hotmail account,
even with the computer left on 24/7.
