Vista - "Windows Live Hotmail applies your filters in the order listed here"

This should go to hotmail group but i can't find one

I can create filters for WLM via hotmail - but it applies them in a specific
order:

"Windows Live Hotmail applies your filters in the order listed here"

so how do i change the order of the filters?

AFAIK, the Hotmail group is located at...
microsoft.public.msn.discussion

You're filter question and "quoted text" appears to be from the Hotmail
option 'Automatically sort e-mail into folders'.
If so, the order is as shown and also in the reverse order of creation.(ie.
last created sort rule is the first to be acted upon).

To modify the order if more than one sort rule is required priortized the
rules then create the rules in the reverse order.

So although 'the order' of rules is relevant there's no method to change
it - there is also a natural propensity to add rules as you need them - but
they are specifically applied in reverse order, as if for no other reason
than to annoy (i can't think of another reason anyway)???

It's a shame t' spoil the ship for 'a'pth o' tar
