| | Mail or Hotmail? Hi, I got an email (in my hotmail account) from Windows Live team saying there was a new Live Mail which would allow me to send photos in the body of my email instead of as attachments. I would like this. I thought I had everything downloaded, my browser says "Windows Live", but all I see is Hotmail, not Mail, and when I click "new", I don't see the new photo-email in the drop-down. I can't see "Mail" anywhere - I only see Hotmail. What do I need to do? Thanks. |

The current released version of Windows Live Mail is 12.0.1606, and can be downloaded from http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview . -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Patty" <Patty@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:0655D927-CF13-4657-83C0-4AC623C4222C@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi, > I got an email (in my hotmail account) from Windows Live team saying > there was a new Live Mail which would allow me to send photos in the body of > my email instead of as attachments. | | Re: Mail or Hotmail? Whew! I finally got it. I expected it to be on my Windows Live session with Home, Hotmail, Spaces, OneCare... and when I clicked Hotmail, I got Hotmail on a Windows Live page. I didn't realize WLM and WL Hotmail were different, or where to find WLM. I finally went to Start, All Programs and saw the Windows Live Mail. I launched that and have now sent my first photo mail. Thanks. | | Re: Mail or Hotmail? fyi... Photos included in a photo-email are stored on the Live servers for recipients to view or download. They are not retained forever(iirc 30 days, ie. not indefinitely) ...winston "Patty" <Patty@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:3EE5BF9A-7820-4F3E-9A18-255458123621@xxxxxx : Whew! I finally got it.
