Such as while accessing Hotmail folder, POP3 folders, Newsgroups, etc.? One thing you can try is to force a compact of the message store file. Assumes Tools, Options, Advanced, Maintenance, Compact on xxx runs and set to 1, then close WLM and reply to do the clean up.
