    Problem sending email

Everytime I click on my send/receive button, after along wait I receive the
    following message:
The connection to the server has failed.

    Subject 'Re: Gas 4 Free'
    Server: 'smtp.comcast.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
    Protocol: SMTP
    Port: 25
    Secure(SSL): No

I this is the first email I tried to send this morning and all the others
won't send either. I've run a Windows Defender scan and all was A-OK. What
    should I do?

    Re: Problem sending email

Your outgoing SMTP has to be set to Port 587 instead of Port 25. Change
that an you shouldn't have any problems. If you're not sure how to do it,
    follow the instructions here: http://help.comcast.net/

    The detailed instructions are here:
    http://www.comcast.com/Customers/FAQ...s.ashx?Id=2288

The OP will also need to enable SMTP-AUTH if not already enabled.

    Tools - Accounts - youraccount - Properties - Servers
Under "Outgoing Mail Server" check the box next to "My server requires
    authentication".

You can't do SMTP on port 110. Port 110 is for receiving only.
