| Guest | Inbox folders in WLM I am confused about the Inbox folder(s). I just migrated from Outlook Express to WLM. At the end of the installation, it offered to transfer my messages from OE to WLM and I confirmed. It did not finish successfully (not sure why) so I did it again - manually - through Import/All folders. As a result, I have a) Inbox folder in the Storage folders. b) Inbox folders - one in each account (I have five accounts). They have nothing to do with a) - correct ? c) In the quick views, I opted for "All inbox" view. Now this one is the most confusing - what is it that I am supposed to see there ? It is NOT the union of all Inbox folders from the accounts. Thanks for clarifying this for me. |

There is a view for a Quick view folder, Show all, Hide read, etc.. It does not show any emails from Storage folders. -- Ronald Sommer Quote: > > Thanks for clarifying this for me. |

| Guest | Re: Inbox folders in WLM I don't see that. My quick view folder "All inbox" currently shows only four messages (the once that I received since I installed WLM (if I go to View/Current view, it is set to Show all messages). However, every one of my account Inbox folders contain dozen of old messages (they got there when I was migrating my OE messages) plus the four new messages that I received recently. Maybe my WLM is in some kind of inconsistent state. Thanks. If you were then to do a View->Refresh (F5) it would hide the read messages and just display the unread ones again (plus retrieve any new mails). Kevin |
