Red 'X' question

not sure if this is due to this mail program...?...(I just switched over to it)
But when someone sends me email with pictures, the pics don't show...just
this red X in a box. Anyone know why??? thank you!

Re: Red 'X' question

Switched over to Windows Live Mail(WLM) ?
Operating system ?
Type of email account(your isp, hotmail, other) ?

If WLM, check your settings for Download Images and Virus Protection on Tools/Safety/Security ?
Is the sender's email address in your safe senders list ?

Are the pictures embedded or attached ?
Certain the sender email has not sent a message where the pictures are not included but reside on a path on the sender's machine ?

Re: Red 'X' question

At the top of Windows Live Mail go to "Tools" > "Safety Options" > "security"
tab and check if The "Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail"
is checked. If so un check it and check the one below it (show images
and.....) Hit OK and check your mail that has the X's
