Query re Reading pane

Hi
I had a problem earlier in the week with my computer and temporarily lost my
WLM.
I managed to get it back but I have two problems now which I cannot solve.
1) The messages do not come up in the reading pane - I just get attachment
sort of messages - one for txt and a second for HTML if appropriate.
Clicking on either of these brings the message up but in a new window in my
browser and then the links don't work.
2) All emails are delivered to my inbox and none are going into the junk file.

Both of these problems are very annoying so if anyone can help me resolve
them I would be most grateful.

PS I have since writing the above read Oreally's thread :- 'show message
header in reading pane'
It would seem that he is trying to do the opposite to me.
The reply was:- 'If you want, you can disable the
reading pane, and simply double click a message in the message list pane,
which causes the message to open in its own window.'
What I can't find out is where to go to do this. I have been in View but
can't find anything there.

Re: Query re Reading pane

View, Layout is where you turn the Reading Pane on or off.

Also look in Tools, Options, Read. If you have Read all messages in
plain text enabled, that will cause HTML messages to appear with an HTML
attachment.

Re: Query re Reading pane

Hi Mike
Thanks for your reply.

Have already checked View - Layout and that is OK. Nothing altered I've had
a read pane all the time.
When I unchecked the 'Read all messages in plain text' box in Tools
-Options- Read
I finished up with just the title in the read pane and no way of opening it
so I have had to enable that again so that I can at least open them!
It is very time consuming to have to open my emails in a seperate window and
then copy and paste if I want to go to a link.

Any other ideas?
