| | mail is opened Whem I open Windows Live Mail all my mail comes to my in box as all ready read mail. I want my mail to come in as not read till I open and read it myself then chose what i want to do with it. My version of Windows Live Mail is: version 2008 (build 12.0.1606). |

| | Re: mail is opened With a POP3 account, the only way messages would arrive as Read is if you had a message rule with that action (Tools, Messages Rules, Mail). For an IMAP or HTTP account, WLM synchronizes with the mail server. If a message was previously read via web mail or another mail program, they will arrive as read in WLM.
