US Holidays disappeared from WLM

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please let me know how I can add the US Holidays calendar to WLM,
or if this is a known bug? I tried searching for a fix but couldn't find info
on it.

I don't know what happened but around the end of Nov., all US holidays
disappeared from WLM. I have a US Holidays calendar but none of the dates,
such as the Nov 4 general election here in the US, displayed.

I tried removing the US Holiday calendar from WLCal and adding it back again
but the same thing happens: the cal loads in WLM but not the dates.

Thanks,

Sterling

Re: US Holidays disappeared from WLM

This is an issue we're looking into. Assuming the web-ui shows your calendar
events, the easist way to get the events in WLM is to delete your calendar
store is at while mail isn't running.
C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Calendars
(Vista)
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Calendars (xp)

Re: US Holidays disappeared from WLM

You should be able to access your calendar data from any computer at
http://calendar.live.com

Re: US Holidays disappeared from WLM

Hi Geoff,

Yes. I forgot to mentioned that the US holidays, and all other calendars I
have, do show up in WLCal (web-ui). Sorry about that.

I just deleted my calendar in WLM, signed in and WLM updated and the US
holidays are back again.

Thanks Geoff!

Re: US Holidays disappeared from WLM

Did you try going to the online version, http://calendar.live.com
to see if the US Holidays are available as an add-on? If so, that
selection should propagate down to your desktop calendar.

Re: US Holidays disappeared from WLM

Never mind. I should have refreshed my downloaded newsgroup
messages so I would have seen that the issue is resolved in later posts.
