| | Headers display but cannot read any messages in Live Mail I have an MSN account that was working fine up to about a day or two ago. Now when I go in Windows Live Mail, I can see all the headers, and retrieve new mail, but none of the messages display. If I open a message, the header displays normally, but the message pane is blank, and there is a mouse pointer with the little hourglass showing, as though there is something happening, but the message never displays. Within the message read window, if I choose 'File', 'Properties' then choose the 'Details' tab and click the 'Message Source' button, I can see that the message is intact, though not formatted for easy reading. So the messages are there somewhere, just not displaying. I really need this to work properly, and several other people are using this as well and depend on me to fix this problem. Thank you, Joe Gorman |

Except for this last symptom a possible explanation would be security settings which might prevent rendering of an HTML E-mail which did not have a plain-text equivalent. Nevertheless you can try getting your browser to render it. E.g. in WLMail, use its Actions, Forward as attachment command (e.g. Alt-A,d) and drag the resulting attachment from the dummy E-mail composition window to an open browser window. Good luck Robert Aldwinckle --- Quote: > > Within the message read window, if I choose 'File', 'Properties' then choose > the 'Details' tab and click the 'Message Source' button, I can see that the > message is intact, though not formatted for easy reading. > > So the messages are there somewhere, just not displaying. > > I really need this to work properly, and several other people are using this > as well and depend on me to fix this problem. > > Thank you, > > Joe Gorman > |
