I can not open live mail desktop beta the latest beta.
Its says
"You calendar contains curropt data that is forcing windows live mail to
close. (0x800706BA)

I do have windows calendar with came with Vista and it does open normal.

VISTA home Premium

Deleting your calendar store directory and restarting mail should fix this
problem. Let me know if this doesn't work.

Your calendar store is at:
C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Calendars
(Vista)
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Calendars (xp)

I encountered the same problem and followed your advise. I've deleted this map: (C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Calendars (xp)) but I'm still getting the error report.

Any suggestions?
