Vista - Unread Messages Don't Appear In Boldface

Unread messages don't appear in boldface in this new beta -- as they did
before in previous WLM versions.

What gives?

A bad design change. Only the From field is bold now.
Not only are the Subject fields not bold, they seem to be using
a grayed-out font that is hard to read on my laptop screen. :-(

If one bold field was a choice, I'd have chosen the Subject field.

For me when reading a newsgroup, the From field is bold and dark with the
other fields dark for unread posts.
For the read posts, the From field is dark and the other fields are grayed
out.

For email, the From field is bold and dark, the Subject field is dark, the
icon is an unopened envelope, and the rest of the fields are gray for unread
messages.
For read messages, all fields are gray and the envelope icon is open.

Running XP SP3 with the beta installed on top of old beta.
