In fact, at this point in time, it is a voluntary install. Most likely it came in with an install of Windows Live Messenger. If you recently installed the latter, and did not read the prompts carefully during the install, you could have gotten it that way. Otherwise, if yours is a shared computer, some other user installed it. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |

Nevertheless, it appears that what he wants to do is to get back to using Outlook Express. The program to do that is called "Program Defaults" in Vista, "Set Program Access and Computer Defaults" button. I believe it is called "Set Program Access and Defaults" in XP. Earle |

| | Re: why windows live mail? a)- there is not program listed in my computer that has anything to do with Windows Live. I searched through the hard drives. I searched the programs list, I searched using the control panel (hoping to uninstall a program that is obviously not there) Nevertheless, I did see a log in for windows live mail!. Do not know where it came from, nor how it got to me. It's not that i want to get back to using outlook expreess- i AM using outlook express (right now aamaf).
