| x64, Vista Business | DHCP Problem I cannot connect to the internet to sign in with my server. I did a hard shutdown when I was in a rush and I think I hurt the machine. The error message I keep getting is, "DHCP client service is not running on this computer". How can I restore my computer. I have Vista Business on a HP a1744x w/AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core processor 4600+....1024 MB memory......NVIDIA Geforce 6150 le graphics. I am mostly computer illiterate and don't understand computer talk very well. Help! |

Select Properties. The DHCP Client should be started and set to Automatic. |

| x64, Vista Business | Re: DHCP Problem C.B. Thanks for your help info however it did not work. I tried several times and rebooted machine after each, but no connection with internet made. Any further suggestions would be appreciated? Really frustrating. |
