| | Can messenger component be removed from Live Mail? Didn't have messenger on the toolbar until recently. Do I need it? What's it for? If it's not needed, how do I remove it? I just want to send and receive email and don't want spyware in the program. How do I know if my email client has been hacked? |

Now that we know it's possible to remove MSN messenger from Live Mail client, can someone list the procedure to remove it? | | Re: Can messenger component be removed from Live Mail? Automatically login to Messenger is already unchecked, and the messenger button is not listed in "Customize Toolbar" options, so how can it be removed? There also doesn't seem to be a way to remove the Messenger "shortcut" at the bottom of the folder list. Have I overlooked something?
