Appearance

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this. If so, sorry. If not, I would
like to ask how to change the color and size of the print on the live mail
desktop. I tried to change it with the desktop personalization utility but
it has no effect. For example, the message list is in a pale, pale blue and
very hard to read. Links are also too pale as is the number of messages in
the left pane.

I am using Vista Home Premium SP1, current version with Windows Live Mail.

Thanks

....Z

Re: Appearance

Hello Z,
Look to the top, Menu bar, click VIEW > click TEXT SIZE > change text size,
large, medium, small etc.

Re: Appearance

Thanks guys.

ydb1, that change sorted out the problem with reading the body of posts and
emails very nicely. Thank you.

t-4-2, I had already done that but it does not change the color or the
heaviness of the text in the message list or in the left hand panel.

I still have pale blue, faint black, and the occasional bold black letters
in the Message list, Folder pane, and Message header columns. There must be
a reason for the various colors but I can not figure it out.

Just next to the left of the show menu tab is a "change the colour scheme of windows live mail tab" have a look in there and change the colours to suit yourself. i dont think that will solve your problem entirely though.
