I can't tell you if the iPhone is capable of doing that, or how to change that setting if can since I don't have one. -- Roy Smith http://roysmith1959.spaces.live.com/ |

| | Re: Receiving Mail......Need help!! An iPhone and iPod Touch only supports pop3 capability for a Windows Live Email account. Unless the message is left on the server, once delivered to an iPhone/iPod touch email client the message will no longer reside on the server. To use pop3 on an iPhone/iPod Touch, the Windows Live Email account requires a Windows Live Hotmail Plus subscription($20/yr, U.S., not available in all countries). If your Windows Live email account is a Hotmail Plus fee based account then ensure the account settings on the iPhone/iPod Touch are configured properly: - Settings/Mail Calendar Contacts/Select Account/Advanced/Delete from server/ You should have at least 3 settings to choose from(Never, Seven Days, When Removed from Inbox) Fyi...the iPhone/iPod touch if using current firmware and if not modified/hacked by the user is programmed to inform of the Hotmail Plus requirement when setting up a hotmail/live/msn.com account. -- ...winston ms-mvp mail "CarsbyRami" <CarsbyRami@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:68AAFA05-218A-4887-A696-C17285FA37DC@xxxxxx Quote: > I have my iphone set up to receive emails so that I can check it while away > from my desk but once I receive it on my Iphone - the message is never > received in my Windows Live Mail email account. > > Is there a particular setting that I should have set ?? |
