| | Re: photo mailing size help Windows version? Things to consider: Attaching (or embedding) such a graphic file (pic) adds a ~35% markup to the size of your email. So, e.g., attaching a 2.5MB pic to a 10KB message becomes a 337.5MB email. Most ISPs restrict emails to a max of 1MB (which is why your messages are being rejected). Most ISPs set limits on an account's mailbox. If the recipient's ISP limits him to a, e.g., 2MB mail box max & you send even a 3MB email, the message will be rejected. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ granbjd22 wrote: Quote: > I don't know if I can get help here, but my pictures that come off my > camera > are 2832x2128 size. | | Re: photo mailing size help With XP you can Right click on a group of photos and select Send to mail recipient you should get a prompt if you want to resize them. You can also get utilities that will resize a group of photos. Windows XP Image Resizer Power Toy (easily resize one or more images) http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx It's normal for your camera to transfer the pictures at full size to your PC. Other options include using HTML format and use Insert Image instead of Insert File as Attachment. WLM will resize the image as it inserts. Or if you use Photo mail it can upload the full size image to a Microsoft server and insert a small version in the actual message which the recipient can click on to download the full size image. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "granbjd22" <granbjd22@xxxxxx> wrote in message news E25B619-2BE7-4E7E-9BC9-005B83102BC1@xxxxxxQuote: > I don't know if I can get help here, but my pictures that come off my > camera > are 2832x2128 size.
