I have tried to download this new version of messenger,mail etc and it failed
every time,I would like to know where I can I get the previous version from
untill the final versions are ready,as it keeps sending me back to the
page,im getting a tad fed up with it now.

'This new version' (14.0.8050.1202) *is* the final version so far,
and the download site for v.12 has been dismantled.
How does the download fail? What error message do you get? What page
does what keep sending you back to?

I tried to download it from what was the old link,and gets to 32% and fail
comes up with a error code rolls it back and removes all my original wlm
downloads,i tried to down load mail,but it wont run it,keeps saying I dont
have enough ram or hard drive space..when I acutally do i think 2 GB of ram
and 250 of HDD should be plenty.

Someone posted the similar problem, he got " rolled back " to v12.
He had to UN-install all the Essentials And the v12, then install the v14
and succeeded. The problem was, I think, you cannot mix&match. Get rid of
everything from v12, and start from scratch.

Try downloading the full installer. Go to http://download.live.com and
click on the download button and when it starts to download, cancel the
download then click on the try again button. This will then get you the
full installer program with everything included, it takes longer to
download, but once you have it you don't need your internet connection for
the install process.

MIx and match is not possible..
The version 14 installer will upgrade all programs it finds if not at the same version level.
