blue lines in forwarding

Does anyone know how to remove the blue lines when forwarding and email with
PHOTOS. Text is easy to remove.

Re: blue lines in forwarding

Go to Tools, Options, Send, Mail Sending Format, HTML Settings.
Uncheck "Indent message on reply".

Re: blue lines in forwarding

Mine has been unchecked and it still sends that wonderful blue line in
forwarding. Sometimes I get 6 of those lines when I receive forwarded
emails. The only problem with cleaning it up before sending is with the
photos. Any other suggestions?

Re: blue lines in forwarding

Unchecking that setting only prevents the newest blue line that would have
been added. It does not clean up older blue lines that prior senders added.
The only way to remove all blue lines is to switch to plain text format,
but that will also remove any inline images.

Re: blue lines in forwarding

Tools->Options...->Send [tab]->Mail Sending Format [section]->HTML Settings... [button]->[ ] Indent message on reply [un-check]

Along with the above option, you could forward such an e-mail as 'Plain Text' to rid the vertical line indents, and if you don't like the '>' indents either, make sure you uncheck the option: 'Indent the original text with '>' when replying or forwarding' at: Tools->Options...->Send [tab]->Mail Sending Format [section]->Plain Text Settings... [button]->...

Or if you still want to use HTML, then you could select the 'Plain text format' (Format->[ ] 'Plain text') then return your e-mail to 'Rich text (HTML)' format (Format->[ ] 'Rich text (HTML)').

None of the above workarounds will be sufficient if you want to retain any HTML objects in the quoted sections though. But some creative Copy (from original) and Paste (to Forwarded quote section) could recreate those.

Alternatively, you could drag the message to your Desktop, open it with a text editor and edit it to remove the blue line indents, then drag it back into WLMail before forwarding it.
