| | Spell check is checking original text in reply/forward 1.) Under Always Ignore heading, I have put a check on The original text in Reply/Forward, but it is still checking the original text. It even check the spelling of names on the TO and From of the Reply/Forward columns. 2.) I have e-mails which often contain foreign language. When I FORWARD those with my message in English , a pop-up box will ask if I want to send Unicode, As Is, etc. Spell check is NOT supposed to check that. Right ? t-4-2 |

| | Re: Spell check is checking original text in reply/forward WLM sometimes has difficulty telling original text from new text, especially if you do something like change the format from HTML to plain text. Also, I've been complaining for years already that it should not spell check the subject line if that is existing text, but MS seems unconcerned about that bug. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "t-4-2" <dhuang1@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:06E38496-B06C-4612-994F-7AB7A1262517@xxxxxx Quote: > 1.) | | Re: Spellcheck Is Checking Original Text In Reply/Forward No... It *should* spellcheck the Subject Line. That is a very welcome improvement in WLM and should be continued. It's not a bug. | | Re: Spell check is checking original text in reply/forward Thank you. For your information, I always use HTML on regular e-mails. Plain Text is used ONLY on newsgroup forums. t-4-2 "Gary VanderMolen" <Gary@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:uvucv$#fJHA.2384@xxxxxx Quote: > WLM sometimes has difficulty telling original text from new text, > especially if you do something like change the format from HTML > to plain text. > > Also, I've been complaining for years already that it should not > spell check the subject line if that is existing text, but MS seems > unconcerned about that bug. > > -- > Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) > > > "t-4-2" <dhuang1@xxxxxx> wrote in message > news:06E38496-B06C-4612-994F-7AB7A1262517@xxxxxx Quote: >> 1.)
