Vista - Anyone else having weird problems with comcast.net email

Both of my comcast email accounts have "re-downloaded" email messages from
the last 30 days.

So i'm seeing 50+ new email messages in both accounts even though they list
the excact same infomation as the messages that are marked as read. so i'm
seeing a new message sent from 1/15/09 11:15pm even though right below this
new message I have the exact same message already read (or deleted).

any ideas on why this is happening or if it is only a one time thing?

Comcast has changed their servers. It is my understanding that the new SMTP
servers, related to their rollout of "Smartzone", are sufficiently different
that the email client may not recognize that the email on those servers has
already been downloaded. Once you have them all re-downloaded, the problem
should not recur.
