Re: Unable to Sychronize Windows Live Calendar

In most cases this appears to be a server related issue.
If a local problem, deleting one's Calendar folder may rectify the issue.

I get the same error message and I have the latest update for Live Mail as
far as I know. So you mean, delete the current calendar(s) and then recreate
it and it should work? A bit of a pain since I've entered all kinds of
    information already.

Hi - I get the same message and I know I have a the latest updates of
everything. You are saying that we must delete our current calendar and the
recreate it? I have already entered all kinds of information so that is
quite a bit to ask. Is there any other way to fix this?

Re: Unable to Sychronize Windows Live Calendar

If you are using a Live ID to signon, the calendar content is stored on the web server. The Live ID's Calendar once deleted(Windows
Live Mail needs to be closed) via Windows Explorer will be recreated on the next WLM open and sync'ed with the content on the web
    server.

If you are not using a Live ID to signon in WLM(called the Default account), you've little option if the Calendar
database(WLCalendarStore.edb) is corrupt, since nothing sync's with the web server. As insurance, you might wish to backup the
    database file
    (\...\Windows Live Mail\Calendars\DBStore\WLCalendarStore.edb)
or consider using a Live ID in the future to ensure your data is stored on the web server.

I am also getting "There was an error when attempting to connect to the
Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's
an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service
representative." each time I check my mail. Is there anyway I can uninstall
the calendar service and just keep Windows Live Mail. I have no need of the
calendar and it is becoming a real nuisance.
