This is from 'signature woes' thread:
msenoz, your experience with the missing signatures when replying or
forwarding is not normal.
Whilst it has been experienced by a few posters, the vast majority have no
such problems. I can assure you that on all my systems (XP, Vista, 7 Beta -
all 32bit) with the latest version of WLMail, the 'Insert Signature' button
works as expected (see screenshots*), whether I insert signatures manually,
or automatically.
MrsSCRumpler62 needs to provide us with more information for me to be sure
of the problem, but I am fairly sure that her symptom is due to corrupt
signatures in the registry. As Ron implied in his post below, corruption of
multi-line WLMail text based signatures occurs when they are imported into
the registry under certain circumstances**.
Corruption of a WLMail text-based signature would crash WLMmail in earlier
versions of WLMail, but the current version solves this by ignoring the
corrupt signature permanently. Such a signature is removed from the
'Signatures' tab in Options, but may remain in the list for the 'Insert
Signature' button.
Thus, my recommendation for MrsSCRumpler62, had she provided more
information, would probably be to delete the Registry Key that holds the
signatures for WLMail. Upon restarting WLMail and creating a new signature,
the 'signatures' Registry Key would be re-created.
This Registry Key is at: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live
Mail\signatures
Obviously one would have to re-create any WLMail text based signatures via
the 'Signatures' tab in Options.
Now, your symptoms appear to be somewhat different than MrsSCRumpler62's,
but they may well be due to the way WLMail deals with corrupted signatures.
What I suggest you try, is to *rename* the 'signatures' Registry Key to
"signatures (old)", then restart WLMail and recreate your signatures. If you
can access your text based signatures in the 'Signatures' tab in Options,
you could copy them to a text file (Notepad) for backup (you can actually
point to a text file to create a signature in WLMail).
If proper function is restored, you might like to compare the old signatures
to the new ones in the Registry.

**Basically, if you import a multi-line WLMail text signature into the
registry (where the signature does not already exist), using a .reg file
(double-click, or File->Import... in Regedit, or via a backup program), the
Value 'text' is not imported into the 'signatures' sub-key '000...'
