Vista - Message Store Format In Outlook Express & WLM

Clearly the folks who developed Outlook Express were *very* bright.

The only Major Deficit in OE is the Message Store Format, which is much
better in WLM.

Was it simply not technically possible to use the Message Store Format we
see in WLM today, when OE was first developed and then refined, or were
there other reasons why it was not employed, and what were those other
reasons?

I like to believe it was because of the lack of huge disk storage space.
As it does take up far less room as cluster sizes isn't wasting disk
space for every message. I still like OE message store a better method
even today. I realize many people has problems with it, but I don't.
