Windows Live and cloud computing

I am exploring the idea of cloud computing as I understand it with Microsoft
live. I have set up a "mesh" but am currently interest in the windows mail
and calendar facilities. I have created a hotmail account and have windows
live mail installed on my computer. One of the benefits of this seems to be
that my mail is stored both online and on my computer.

I am hoping for much the same thing from windows calendar; I have copied my
outlook calendar (though with a few missing appointments strangely) and
published it to my on line calendar. the point is how do I synchronise the
two?

best wishes and thanks in advance

Jonathan

Re: Windows Live and cloud computing

Hi Jonathan.

Just sign into Windows Live through Windows Live Mail with your Windows Live ID (hotmail e-mail address).

Use the 'Sign in' button far right of WLMail's toolbar.

Your Windows Live Calendar will then automatically synchronise with the Calendar in WLMail.

Re: Windows Live and cloud computing

And you can even easily attach other peoples calendars when they are set up
to be shared using the web interface.
This is super cool.

Re: Windows Live and cloud computing

Use of the Outlook Connector in Outlook makes both Calendars available(Outlooks default Calendar and the Live ID calendar)...both
can be viewed side-by-side in Outlook. Data can be copied between the two.
